Yes. The horses are friendly and sure-footed; the tölt is a smooth four-beat gait. Eyjardalsá takes beginners.

No. The postal address is 641 Húsavík but the house sits in the Goðafoss valley, 45 km from the harbour.
Can I visit Goðafoss and Dettifoss in one day from here?
Yes. Goðafoss is 4 km; Dettifoss about 100 km. Start early, use road 862 to the west bank in summer if it is open.
Do I need a 4x4?
Not for the house, Goðafoss, Húsavík or Mývatn. You need a 4x4 for F-roads (F26, Askja).
Is there a supermarket nearby?
A small shop and fuel at Fosshóll near Goðafoss and in Laugar. Full supermarket in Akureyri or Húsavík (about 45–50 km).

Is the stay suitable for children?
Yes. Private bathrooms, kitchen, garden. Two of the rooms sleep four (bunks). The waterfall is 4 km — not a fenced playground.
What is the cancellation policy?
The deadline is the one on the rate you pick in Smoobu or on Booking.com. The confirmation email states it. We do not invent a second rule.
Which bank of Goðafoss is closest?
The west bank, about 4 km / 8–11 minutes from the house, with parking. The east bank is a short extra drive.
